Marguerite and Max are getting married!

Marguerite Matter and Max Schubert invite you to share in their marriage on December 15, 2001, at 11:30 AM.

Both the wedding and the reception will be held at Max's house:

Dress code is: casual. The wedding clothes Marguerite and I have picked would qualify as very nice day out at the theatre or gallery wear.

Basic directions from 395 N/S:

1. Take the Edsall Road East exit. This is the last exit before the 495/395 Springfield exchange if arriving from 395 south or the first exit after the 495/395 Springfield exchange if coming from the south on 495 E/W or 95 N.
2. On the exit ramp, stay in the left lane and merge onto Edsall Road.
3. Take a right on Beryl Road, which will be approximately 1/4 mile from the merge point.
4. Pass an elementary school and make a left on Sheldon Drive.
5. My house is 3/4 down the street, on the left. It has 5-6 foot high hedges in front of it. Park in the driveway or on the street.

Basic directions from Springfield parkway, heading towards Springfield mall:

1. Take the parkway east, past Springfield until it ends at Van Dorn Street (this will be a T-intersection).
2. Take a left on Van Dorn Street and get in the right lane.
3. Cross over Franconia Road, pass exits for 495, drive under the 495 overpass, drive until you see Van Dorn Shopping Center on your right (approximately 2-3 miles total).
4. Make a left on Edsall Road ... Edsall is at the corner of the Van Dorn Shopping Center.
5. Take Edsall Road for approximately 1.5 miles until you reach Beryl Road.
6. Make a left on Beryl Road.
7. Pass an elementary school and make a left on Sheldon Drive.

Gifts: Gifts are welcomed but not expected. We have not registered at any stores, so the choice of gift is yours; here is a small list of items I have come up with that we would find useful as a starting point:

• Gift certificates to book stores!
• Gift certificates to Bed, Bath and Beyond or other housewares stores.

Since Marguerite and I are combining households, there are not any essential items we need; therefore our wish list is short and we leave the choice of gifts open and not manditory.

Parking: Please feel free to park in the driveway or anywhere on the street near my house.

Ceremony: will be secular and brief :). The reception will last until approzimately 3 PM. There will be a variety of foods courtesy of my mom and Fresh Fields, including vegetarian and non-vegetarion foods.

Marguerite's 16-year old pug Rumpole will be the special guest of honor. He has come down with diabetes this last week and will be present so that Marguerite can monitor his blood sugar.
